The success of Bruce House is built on our volunteers and staff. Their involvement includes everything from personal care and support to office work, fund raising and promotion.

Our staff consists of nine full-time employees and up to six part-time employees. The work of our staff is supplemented and enhanced through the generous time and effort of a network of over 70 active volunteers, providing us with approximately 14,000 hours of time or the equivalent seven full-time positions per year. Our staff members come from all backgrounds and have a broad range of experience and expertise. From medical training and social work, to academic and religious backgrounds, to people whose lives or families have been touched by HIV/AIDS, our caregivers reflect the same diversities as those who are facing a life with HIV/AIDS.
